Tourist Portal of the City of Vrchlabi
The city on the Elbe River is located at an altitude of 400–1036 meters above sea level. It is home to 13,000 permanent residents, who mostly work in services and industry.
Vrchlabí is the center of the Central Krkonoš Mountains, which is why it is called the gateway to the Krkonoš. It has a unique and pleasant atmosphere of a mountain resort, but at the same time, it is a lively town full of tradition and culture. It is a place where history and the present blend harmoniously.
