Vrchlabí Airport - offers scenic flights over the Krkonoš Mountains for you

Vrchlabí Airport (ICAO: LKVR) is located approximately 2.5 kilometers from the center of Vrchlabí in the Hradec Králové Region. Due to its location in the foothills of the Krkonoš Mountains and an elevation of 490 meters, it is the highest airport in the Czech Republic.
Scenic flights over ski resorts, such as Pec pod Sněžkou, Špindlerův Mlýn, and Rokytnice nad Jizerou, are popular. The "panoramas" include views of Sněžka, Černá hora, Obří důl, and other iconic landmarks of the Krkonoš Mountains.
Vrchlabí Flight School offers scenic flights to the public. Familiarization flights are conducted in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 4a, letter (c) of Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012. The document CAA-SL-102-n-16 of the Civil Aviation Authority, which regulates the conditions for conducting Familiarization Flights, is available on the CAA website.
Familiarization flights are conducted on Cessna 172, Z-43, or M7 Maule aircraft (3 people + pilot) and possibly on a Cessna 152 aircraft (1 person + pilot).
